The Oaks Tearoom

Welcome to The Oaks Tearoom, a seasonal tearoom located in the picturesque village of Romaldkirk, County Durham. We serve a variety of home-baked treats, tasty meals, and delicious hot and cold drinks, all made fresh from the kitchen, that can be enjoyed either in our cozy tea room overlooking the garden, or sitting outside in the sun (weather permitting!).

We also provide catering and party booking services, just drop us a line via email or phone to discuss details!

A Look at Our Menu

All our bakes are freshly made and, while the menu changes weekly, there is always at least one gluten free option and a variety of vegetarian options. We also do an excellent afternoon tea, although booking is required at least 24h in advance.

Opening Hours

We are open on weekends and bank holidays, from 10:30 until 2-3pm, although these can vary, so updates can be found on Facebook if there are any changes.
